Job Title: Sterling DOM Quality Assurance Tester
Location: Remote
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced IBM Sterling OMS Tester to support eCommerce and Retail Supply Chain Management applications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, and End-to-End manual testing of IBM Sterling DOM/OMS and possess deep knowledge of testing methodologies, API validation, and defect tracking tools.
Key Responsibilities:
IBM Sterling OMS Testing & Validation:
- Perform Functional, Regression, and E2E manual testing on IBM Sterling DOM/OMS applications.
- Execute manual test cases, identifying defects to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Conduct testing for various IBM Sterling DOM/OMS modules, including:
- Order Capture (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders)
- Delivery Methods (BOSS/BOPIS)
- Sourcing & Scheduling
- Catalog Management (Item Creation and Load)
- Inventory Management
- Organization Hierarchy
- Agent & Integration Servers
- API Tester Framework
- Store Console & Fulfillment Process (Pick, Pack, Containers, Shipping, Manifest Labels)
- Order Console & DOM DB Tables
Testing & Defect Management:
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to define project goals.
- Document and report bugs, issues, and inconsistencies in a detailed manner.
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and updates.
- Validate user interfaces, workflows, and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in alignment with business requirements.
API & Web Services Testing:
- Perform API and web service testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Validate RESTful and SOAP web services using structured methodologies.
Process & Collaboration:
- Utilize defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla.
- Manage test cases using qTest or similar tools.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring effective time management.
- Collaborate with teams for process optimization, troubleshooting, and testing strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing IBM Sterling DOM/OMS.
- Strong expertise in testing eCommerce/Retail Supply Chain business applications.
- Experience in API testing, web services validation, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing (preferred).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced testing environment.
