Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and security Database Engineer (DBA) to support infrastructure and data operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL/PLSQL development, ETL tools, and database administration, with a focus on performance, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain relational databases with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Manage ETL processes for data integration, transformation, and migration.
  • Perform data validation, integrity checks, and performance tuning.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database architecture, processes, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to support end-to-end data workflows.
  • Support audits and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in database engineering or administration.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PLSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other enterprise-grade databases.
  • Familiarity secure data handling practices.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, or AWS Database Specialty.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data governance, and data modeling.
  • Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government-regulated environments.
