Job Details
Onsite Data Engineer with 5-8+ years in Data Engineering, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, Python, API for a contract, potentially to hire position. No 3rd Party / C2C / H1B sponsorship.
This position is 100% onsite near the greater Dallas / Coppell area.
What you will be doing:
- Support and build data pipelines, ETL pipelines and integrations of multiple data sources
- Collaborate with data scientists for analysis
- Manage noisy data with inconsistent values across sources
- Develop APIs to share data internally and externally (e.g., with customers)
- Work mainly with Python
- Primarily use AWS cloud; some Azure experience is a plus
What you will need:
- 5-8+ years as a Data Engineer, Data Engineering
- Strong SQL skills
- Python programming
- AWS Cloud experience
- Experience with Big Data, Hadoop, Spark
- Experience with Data Warehouse
- Strong experience building and managing data pipelines
- Strong experience in data cleansing
- Ability to understand business context and data meaning
- Flexible and adaptable to new technologies
- Experience with Snowflake preferred
Education:
- Bachelor s degree or higher required
