About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr Security Engineer to join our Threat Defense and Response team and help drive the next generation of AI-powered cyber defense capabilities. This role will focus on advancing our ability to identify, research, investigate, and respond to evolving threats across cyber defense.
As cyber threats grow in speed and sophistication, this role will be instrumental in architecting and scaling security solutions that combine advanced engineering with deep security expertise. You will collaborate with cross-functional security and engineering teams, build automation that amplifies human defenders, and shape Uber's cyber defense strategy.
Our mission is to protect, defend, and secure Uber's products, infrastructure and data by building highly available, scalable and extensible security platforms and services. We are focused on proactively identifying and remediating security risks as well as swiftly detecting and mitigating security incidents. In the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, we continuously adapt and evolve our defenses in order to always stay one step ahead of potential threats.
