Description

SAIC is seeking a PNT Test Engineer with experience in electrical or systems engineering to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team.

SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As an Engineer on the PNT SE&I Test and Evaluation team you will collect and analyze Global Positioning System (GPS) data. The PNT SE&I team works in a high-paced environment with Government personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for positioning, navigation, and timing.

Major duties of this position include:
  • Conduct test events to evaluate performance of GPS system components
  • Compile and present findings, recommendations, and engineering assessments to government customers
  • Manage project schedules and deliverables
  • Understand and analyze large data sets to compile meaningful results
  • Analyze GPS capabilities, including technical requirements, implementation plans, technical impacts of changes, and risks to success
  • Produce and contribute to reports that provide recommendations for fixes to issues and ways forward on technical challenges

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Science
  • Secret clearance
  • 5+ years of overall experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams

Desired Skills:
  • Current active Top Secret Clearance
  • GPS experience
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio C++, C#, Python, MatLab
  • Experience and familiarity working with DoD organizations

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
