Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Tester to join our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software applications under various load conditions. As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing performance tests to identify and address potential performance bottlenecks.
Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing:
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans, including load, stress, and scalability testing, to assess the performance of web applications, API’s and Kafka .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture, user workflows, and system requirements to create realistic test scenarios.
• Tool Proficiency:
• Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools such as JMeter to simulate realistic user scenarios and analyse system behaviour under various conditions.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter using various workloads.
• Configure and maintain JMeter testing environments to analyse test results
• Stay abreast of the latest tools and technologies related to performance testing and incorporate them into the testing process as needed.
• Performance Analysis:
• Analyse test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and work closely with development teams to recommend and implement solutions for optimization.
• Generate comprehensive performance reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, providing insights into system performance and potential areas for improvement.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to proactively address performance concerns during the development lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on performance testing progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Automation:
• Work towards automating performance test scenarios to enable continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with the automation team to integrate performance tests into the overall automated testing framework.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Performance Tester in a professional setting.
• Strong work experience in load/performance testing of front end (through UI) ,also backend (through API or SQL processes) and Kafka .
• Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter and Load runner.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and performance engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) for test script development is a plus.
