Job Overview:
We are seeking an Applications System Engineer - Cloud to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and supportability of cloud solutions. This role involves supporting new cloud solutions, conducting testing, and driving operational requirements. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure compliance and vulnerability mediation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Azure/Cloud infrastructure and ensure platform compliance.
• Identify and mediate vulnerabilities in cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud solutions and processes.
• Support new cloud solutions, including UAT, ORT testing, and operational requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and production verification.
• Maintain platform stability, security, and supportability.
• Interface with development teams, vendors, product teams, sales, and customers.
• Monitor, maintain, and support cloud solutions for maximum availability and performance.
• Develop guidelines for system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and outages.
• Provide support for web portals, orchestration, platforms, applications, APIs, networks, and monitoring needs.
• Perform platform support, including monitoring capabilities, performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintaining overall service and platform health.
• Facilitate post-outage reviews (POR) and manage Service Incident Reporting (SIR).
• Develop and deliver Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to management and customers.

Qualifications:

• or Permanent Resident.
• Experience in Azure/Cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of application/platform compliance and vulnerability mediation.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
• Experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Ability to manage and support web portals, orchestration, and APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.

Pay Range: $45 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
