Job Title: Lead Revenue Analyst
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Jersey City, NJ MUST be local - Hybrid
Lead Revenue Analyst with strong expertise in Gross-To-Net (GTN) revenue accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), and SAP S/4HANA to drive financial accuracy and seamless integration between revenue recognition and Trade Promotion systems such as Visualfabriq.
This is a techno-functional role (60% business / 40% technology), ideal for someone who can partner with Finance, Commercial, and IT teams to lead GTN processes, improve data flows, and ensure compliant, accurate, and timely revenue reporting. The candidate must be hands-on with revenue workflows, rebates, deductions, accruals, and interfaces, with a strong understanding of SAP capabilities and integration architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Gross-To-Net (GTN) accounting processes including accruals, deductions, chargebacks, rebates, and returns.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition by aligning Trade Promotion inputs (e.g., from Visualfabriq) with S/4HANA and AR processes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for GTN-related revenue accounting and AR reconciliation.
- Partner with Commercial, FP&A, Sales, and IT teams to improve end-to-end revenue workflows and TPM integration.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and validate interface requirements between Trade Promotion systems and S/4.
- Lead GTN impact analysis during S/4HANA transformation, data validation, and system testing (UAT).
- Translate business requirements into functional specs for enhancements, workflows, and automation.
- Review, analyze, and improve processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and support SOX and internal control procedures related to revenue and AR.
- Assist in building dashboards and reports for finance leadership to monitor GTN trends and variances.
- Drive mission-critical revenue transformation initiatives in a complex enterprise landscape.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on a high-impact team bridging business and technology.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting, Gross-To-Net (GTN) processes, or Accounts Receivable.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially in FI/CO and AR modules.
- Experience integrating with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems (e.g., Visualfabriq, SAP TPM, Vistex).
- Strong understanding of rebates, accruals, settlements, chargebacks, and AR subledger logic.
- Functional experience with financial close processes, reporting, and revenue forecasting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across finance, commercial, and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in CPG, Pharma, or Retail industries with high GTN complexity.
- Familiarity with ETL/integration tools, interface monitoring, or middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI).
- Ability to run queries, work with data models, and perform revenue variance analysis.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
