Job Title: Business Analyst Payments Processing
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid Onsite 2-3 days/week)
Employment Type: W2 (No Benefits)
Job Summary:
seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in payments processing to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on banking, financial services, and payment systems (e.g., ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, etc.). The candidate must be capable of engaging stakeholders, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the end-to-end delivery of payment-related technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for payment processing systems.
Act as a subject matter expert on payment channels including ACH, Wire, SWIFT, Real-Time Payments (RTP), and other digital payment platforms.
Analyze and document current and future state business processes.
Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
Facilitate UAT planning, test case review, and defect triage.
Drive requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Liaise between business units, development teams, and QA to ensure smooth delivery.
Ensure all solutions are aligned with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support product owners in backlog grooming and prioritization.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.
Proven experience with payment systems and processing workflows.
Deep knowledge of ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, Zelle, and treasury operations.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in payments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working at large banks or financial institutions.
Experience with ISO 20022 messaging standards.
Familiarity with commercial or corporate banking platforms.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid model Expected to be onsite in Dallas, TX for 2-3 days per week.
