Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Deliver and deploy POS terminals (credit card machines) to designated locations using your own vehicle.
- Install and set up hardware including terminals, cables, and power connections.
- Verify functionality of devices post-installation (e.g., test transactions, connectivity).
- Document deployments and report any issues or delays to the project coordinator.
- Maintain inventory control of devices assigned for delivery.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support during installation.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery across multiple sites in New Haven.
- Interact professionally with various departments and teams, representing the deployment team with a customer-service mindset.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lift and carry small equipment (up to 25 lbs).
- Comfortable working independently and navigating multiple locations.
- Ideal candidate will have some technical expertise-such as experience with hardware setup, IT support, or device configuration.
- Prior deployment or field tech experience is a plus, but not required-we welcome entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and represent the team well.
Additional Details:
- Mileage is not reimbursed separately; the $2/hr stipend covers vehicle usage.
- Candidates must be available for the full duration of the project.
- Training will be provided prior to deployment.
