Job Title: Product Manager (Vertex AI Expertise)

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Remote)

Employment Type: W2 Only

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary:
We seek an experienced AI/ML Product Manager with hands-on expertise in Vertex AI, generative AI, and machine learning pipelines to lead our AI product strategy. You'll drive the development of intelligent products by combining technical depth with business acumen to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute product roadmap for AI/ML solutions using Vertex AI, AutoML, and custom ML pipelines
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into business value propositions for stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, UX) to ship production-grade AI features
  • Design MLOps workflows for model training, deployment and monitoring on Vertex AI
  • Prioritize use cases for generative AI (LLMs, multimodal models) and predictive AI applications
  • Establish KPIs to measure model performance, business impact and ROI
  • Conduct market analysis of AI/ML competitive landscape and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate on responsible AI practices including fairness, explainability and governance
  • Optimize cloud costs for AI workloads across training and inference

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years product management with 4+ years focused on AI/ML products
  • Hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI (Pipelines, Feature Store, Model Registry)
  • Technical understanding of:
    • Machine learning lifecycle (data prep deployment)
    • Common ML architectures (NNs, RNNs, Transformers)
    • MLOps best practices
  • Proven track record shipping AI-powered products to production
  • Strong data fluency (SQL, Python, data visualization)
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with:
    • Generative AI applications
    • BigQuery ML or other cloud ML services
    • Edge AI deployment
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
