Senior Software Developers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop maintainable and testable code for data engineering solutions, queries, stored procedures, scripts, database performance, data pipeline tools, scalable data transformation workflows, reusable components, logic, mapping sessions. Conduct POC on emerging IT, work with large data sets, performance tuning. Replace legacy frameworks, confer with business and IT partners, define technical requirements, establish best practices, support data visualization and analytics, maintain version control, improve automation, and review security, architecture, and compliance. Ensure secure access, proper error handling, logging and monitoring. Implement partitioning and caching. Use distributed computing frameworks, and leverage parallelization, vectorizations data loading. Automate data ingestion and transformation, document technical requirements and specifications. Analyze source system, business flow, and target system. Perform impact assessment to track feeds, implement data governance policies, troubleshoot. Identify problems and bottlenecks, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use Python, Agile, SQL, DB2, Oracle, Oracle Exadata, ETL, PySpark, Airflow, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Git, Jira, Confluence, TDD, CI/CD, Informatica Power Center, PL/SQL, Unix, Linux, Autosys, BitBucket. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience performing testing and troubleshooting; working with data, developing queries, stored procedures, scripts; reviewing requirements, and specifications; using SQL, DB2, Oracle, ETL, Airflow, Git, Informatica Power Center, PL/SQL, Unix, Linux, Autosys. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150/yr.
