Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to design and implement strategic data initiatives, including enterprise data warehousing, metadata management, and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data architecture, ETL development, and advanced analytics using tools such as Qlik Sense. This position plays a key role in building data-driven strategies that improve decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement enterprise data initiatives such as data warehousing, master data management, data governance, and metadata management programs.
  2. Administer and monitor automated and manual data integration and ETL processes, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  3. Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across the enterprise, supporting agile application development.
  4. Provide technical guidance and establish standards for data warehouse administration, design, and governance.
  5. Develop ETL pipelines using relational databases, APIs, and flat files for near real-time data movement and change data capture (CDC).
  6. Perform data mining, preprocessing, and cleansing to extract usable insights from structured and unstructured data sources.
  7. Use machine learning and AI tools to build predictive and prescriptive models, enabling data-driven business solutions.
  8. Research and implement advanced ML frameworks and analytics platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, H2O.ai, scikit-learn, Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery).
  9. Work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact data architecture and analytics solutions.
  10. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in data warehousing, data integration, and data architecture.
  • Proven expertise in data modeling, metadata management, and ETL development.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning or data science, including model development, validation, and deployment.
  • Proficiency with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, or MySQL.
  • Experience using ETL tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, IICS) and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, R, and SQL; familiarity with Java, Scala, or C++ is a plus.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, linear algebra, and multivariable calculus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as SVM, Naive Bayes, k-Nearest Neighbors, and Decision Forests.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience implementing data governance frameworks and establishing enterprise-wide data standards.
  • Proven ability to deliver machine learning projects end-to-end, from data aggregation to deployment and monitoring.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and business recommendations.
