Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Enterprise Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise Java applications. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect with deep expertise in Java technologies and a strong understanding of enterprise architecture within the financial services domain.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Java Architect, designing and developing enterprise-level Java applications.
Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot frameworks.
12+ years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, EJB, XML, JSON, etc.
Experience with Java/J2EE application servers like Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, or Oracle WebLogic.
Familiarity with Java/J2EE security frameworks and protocols (OAuth, SAML, SSL).
Solid understanding of Java design patterns and best practices.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to front-end technologies like Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka or IBM MQ.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and agile practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
AWS or Java-related certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Java Architect).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design enterprise-level Java applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
Lead technical design sessions and guide development teams on best practices and architectural standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and architectural principles.
Ensure applications meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve system scalability and maintainability.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams.
