PC Support Technician (Onsite)

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING!

S3 is currently seeking a PC Support Technician to fill a contract opportunity with one of our partners! This is a Monday -Thursday position onsite in Burlington, KS. Hours vary from 6:00a-6:00p (working ten-hour shift to cover core work hours). Candidates should be located within 30 45-minute commute for this position. Valid State Issued Driver License required.

Job Title: PC Support Technician (Onsite)
Location: Burlington, KS
Contract Length: 6 months with potential long-term extension
Pay: $28.19/hr.

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of desktop computing platforms, as well as installing software not distributed via the network. In addition, this position provides support and guidance to end users.

Education/Experience:

• Associates Degree in a computer science-related field and 2 years desktop operating and networking systems OR 4 years recent experience in desktop operating and networking systems.
• Working knowledge of standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to set up/configuration of desktop hardware and current operating system.
• Working knowledge of desktop operating and networking systems.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
• Manages time effectively while assuring attention to details.
• Finishes tasks accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
• Works effectively in a team environment. Makes sound decisions with general guidance.
• Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for internal customers.
• Proficient with windows 10 support and troubleshooting.
• This job is performed with little supervision and requires the candidate to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload accordingly.
• Must be detail oriented and candidate must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, including technical and non-technical in a timely manner.
• Valid driver's license required.
