Description

Our FinTech client is looking for a Instructional Designer with experience designing compliance training programs. This 4 months contract position is remote and offers an opportunity to develop engaging learning solutions that align with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to transform complex content into accessible and impactful learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop compliance-focused training programs tailored for global teams and diverse audiences.

Translate technical and regulatory content into clear, engaging learning materials that drive understanding and behavioral change.

Utilize instructional design principles to develop scalable learning solutions across multiple formats, including digital, instructor-led, and blended approaches.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to ensure training content aligns with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Conduct needs assessments and user research to inform the development of impactful learning experiences.

Adapt training content for localization to meet regional regulatory requirements and cultural differences.

Manage and maintain learning content within Learning Management Systems, ensuring accessibility and regular updates.

Write performance-driven learning objectives and develop strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Perform quality assurance checks and refine content to improve usability and alignment with organizational goals.

Contribute to the evolution of instructional design processes and templates to enhance efficiency and learner engagement.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design within a corporate or startup environment.
Solid understanding of adult learning principles and ability to design for performance outcomes.
Proficiency in tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Canva, and other content creation platforms.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into accessible and engaging training materials.
Proven experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to co-create learning solutions.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a creative and empathetic approach to instructional design.
Familiarity with compliance training requirements and localization for international audiences.
