Job Details
We are currently seeking an experienced QA Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, automation testing, and DevOps practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Utilize your expertise in SQL to perform database testing, data validation, and ensure data integrity.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate testing into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring continuous testing and deployment.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide QA insights and contribute to project success.
- Collaborate with the QA team to identify, document, and track defects, ensuring their resolution and preventing recurrence.
- Monitor testing progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and quality indicators.
- Champion best practices for testing, automation, and quality assurance across the development and testing teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and DevOps practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior QA team members and share your knowledge to enhance the overall skill set of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Tester in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing, data validation, and manipulation.
- Strong experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing within the pipeline.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
