About the Role
iSphere is seeking an experienced Measurement / Analyzer Specialist to join a high-performing team in Beaumont. This role will focus on supporting safety, reliability, and operational excellence through technical leadership, analyzer oversight, and mentoring of craft technicians. The right candidate will not only provide expertise but also help drive long-term improvements across analyzer systems, spare parts management, and reliability programs.
This is not a first-call troubleshooting position. Instead, the Specialist will serve as a role model and subject matter expert, partnering with engineers, frontline supervisors, and technicians to ensure quality work, improved standards, and enhanced equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Reliability

Serve as a role model for safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards and ensure compliance.

Support abnormal or non-routine events, providing technical guidance in response to electrical and analyzer events.

Lead or support root cause failure analyses (RCFAs), recommending and tracking corrective actions.

Identify bad actors and collaborate with engineering and craft leadership to resolve recurring issues.
Technical Support & Oversight

Provide technical assistance for analyzer repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting in collaboration with analyzer technicians.

Ensure quality repair recommendations and job scopes without replacing base unit maintenance responsibilities.

Support maintenance teams with job packs, parts specifications, and work order documentation.

Partner with Analyzer Engineers to align field support, project execution, and repair activities.
Parts & Project Support

Oversee spare parts management, including verification of critical spares and improvement of storehouse processes.

Provide parts lists (BOMs) for overhauls and larger jobs, interfacing with planners and storehouse teams.

Contribute to project and turnaround support through scope gathering, planning, FAT/SAT support, and execution.

Drive continuous improvement of preventive maintenance (PM) strategies based on field observations and RCFAs.
Mentorship & Training

Mentor, coach, and evaluate analyzer technicians, fostering functional excellence and craft development.

Provide day-to-day mentorship, feedback, and serve as a role model for safety and quality.

Lead training sessions, including technical courses, toolbox talks, and lunch-and-learns.

Support operations training on new equipment when required.
Long-Term Planning & Improvement

Steward fleet health performance improvements in area of responsibility.

Contribute to annual plans and long-range improvement plans based on site experience and technical expertise.

Support the rollout of new technologies and share lessons learned across sites and networks.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
-
High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree a plus.
Experience:
-
5+ years of maintenance or analyzer-related experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical facilities.

Strong knowledge of analyzer systems, spare parts management, and reliability improvement programs.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA for maintenance and record-keeping.

Prior experience with project and turnaround planning preferred.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of analyzers and measurement systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to mentor and influence.

Ability to prioritize work, foster teamwork, and maintain high standards under pressure.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
Certifications & Requirements:
-
Valid state-issued driver s license.
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card.
-
OSHA 30 or higher safety certifications preferred.
