Oracle ERP Test Engineer

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automated testing processes for financial and supply chain systems within an Oracle enterprise ecosystem using specialized testing tools (e.g., Oracle testing frameworks, Selenium customized for Oracle UIs, and API-level testing with REST).
- Create detailed testing documentation including test scenarios and validation steps derived from business process flows and technical specifications aligned with Oracle ERP.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Oracle financial modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets, along with logistics modules including inventory and order management.
- Coordinate closely with technical and financial stakeholders to ensure full coverage of operational flows including purchasing cycles, order processing, inventory oversight, and monthly/quarter-end closings.
- Help architect and evolve an automation infrastructure capable of supporting both Oracle s modern cloud applications and on-premise systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Leverage Oracle EBS version 12.1 for test data management, data setup, and backend validation.
- Execute integration, regression, and system performance tests across ERP, SCM, and interconnected third-party platforms.
- Verify the functionality and accuracy of application components such as data interfaces, reports, business process workflows, and Oracle-based REST services.
- Maintain readiness and consistency of QA environments specifically tuned for Oracle-based testing activities.
- Bring a proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Stay current on Oracle security updates (CPUs), test governance best practices, and controlled deployment procedures.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across operations, accounting, and information systems departments.

Skills & Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software QA with automation focus, including extensive experience specifically validating Oracle ERP and supply chain modules.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Oracle s financial suite and application stack.
- Proven track record of leading and coaching QA teams engaged in Oracle system validation.
- Strong knowledge of ERP system design, including Oracle s middleware components, system integrations, and database structures.
- Fluent in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL scripts for the purpose of data verification and test preparation.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- Experience with automation frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, and Oracle-specific testing libraries.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle REST/SOAP APIs and tools like Postman and SoapUI.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools for Oracle deployments.
