Job Description:

Oracle Cloud Report Developer (FDI)

Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire

Location: 100% Remote

Remote constraints*: Must live in OH, PA, WV, MD, or NJ

Candidates must be able to work without sponsorship now or in the future.

The primary purpose of this position is to perform complex analysis, forecasting, modeling, tracking, and reporting of workforce data. Projects will largely be focused on supporting Human Resources projects and requests but may include support for broader business initiatives.

Experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Report Developing: BI Publisher, reporting, and analytics.
  • 3 years of FDI or FAW experience
  • Can program using SQL or python
  • 4 years of recent working experience performing statistical analysis, reporting, data collection and report generation, with an emphasis on Human Resources information tied to company financials, budgeting, and headcount related functions required.
  • Must have hands on experience with SQL and Data Model Reporting
  • Experience writing Oracle reports using BI publisher
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) / Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)
  • Experience reading and writing code in Python


Responsibilities
  • Work on a team to successfully complete a large backlog of work caused by a post-Oracle HCM migration.
  • The role will also deliver effective data/trend support and guidance for Human Resources and business partners who may be at different experience levels with data analysis.
  • Create and develop workforce analytics reports in Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle HCM
  • Position Management - process management, consulting, reporting, and tracking.
  • Program and project assistance as requested including preparing data and analysis for team meetings, company presentations, Board meetings and other assigned projects.


Functional Expertise:
  • Experience navigating and tying disparate reports and sources of information together to present clear, cohesive, and useful data for Human Resources, company, and business needs.
  • This role will require the ability to be collaborative with multiple disciplines (internal and external) to understand trends and initiatives and be able to provide the appropriate insights.
  • Knowledge and experience to develop customized information to drive accurate and insightful analytical output.
  • Strong organizational knowledge and understanding of how the organization is structured and its impact on the data, definitions, assumptions, timing, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of the company's human capital systems - Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher and Analytics as well as the MS Office suite.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned project including research, defining requirements, analysis, documentation, design/development, negotiation, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, standing and ad hoc deliverables, etc.
  • Interact with all levels and departments of the organization such as HR Delivery,
  • Will be responsible for writing SQL scripts and queries for data extraction.


Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience developing and applying formulas to analyze, manipulate, and display trend and forecast data using Oracle HCM reporting and other analytics tools as needed.
  • Quantitative and qualitative consulting with Human Resources and other business partners on data needs and assessments.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and/or Access to support data analysis and/or manipulation.
  • Experience with MS Suite of productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently under moderate supervision.
  • Ability to operate effectively as a team player, even if located remotely.
  • Adept at managing multiple data requests at a time.
