Job Title: SAP EWM Lead (Contract)

Location: Remote + Travel (1 Week/ Month to Houston, TX)

Duration: 12+ Months


What You ll Do

Role Summary:

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience (embedded and decentralized)
  • 15+ years of overall SAP experience, including Logistics modules (WM, LE, MM, SD)
  • Lead EWM implementations and provide post-go-live support in global environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions for complex warehouse operations
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into EWM functional specifications
  • Manage end-to-end EWM processes including:
  • Inbound and outbound logistics
  • Put away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping
  • Slotting and rearrangement
  • Wave and labour management
  • Integrate EWM with core SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, TM) and third-party systems
  • Define and maintain warehouse master data (storage bins, handling units, packaging specs)
  • Support RF integration and warehouse automation interfaces
  • Conduct system testing, UAT, training sessions, and cutover activities
  • Troubleshoot EWM issues and implement effective resolutions
  • Develop functional specs for custom objects and enhancements
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for warehouse and logistics processes
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of EWM on S/4HANA and prior versions
  • Strong grasp of supply chain and warehouse management best practices
  • Experience with global SAP deployments and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Travel may be required to client site 1 week/month
