Hi,
I am looking for NOC Technician for my client.
Shift: Night shift 6:00PM - 6:00AM
Daily Responsibilities:
- Monitors Clemson network, server, and application elements, resolves incidents and service requests and/or consults with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Applies simple state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve the network control center.
- Control network and system processing. Responds to customer inquiries and alters via emails, incoming calls, and walk-ins. Conducts routine inspections on equipment and reports any abnormalities. Other operational duties as assigned, such as meetings, project work, administration and facilities requirements.
- Configure network and system resources and maintain corresponding system records and documentation. Provides Tier II support as per SME agreements. Performs periodic maintenance and monitoring of computer systems. Performs pre-configured port activations on network switches.
- Prepares and reviews documentation for use in operations for training and the knowledge base. Participates in training and cross-training for the Tier II. Provides customer service for all information and/or telecommunication network systems support areas.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years IP Network Troubleshooting
- 3+ years DNS configuration
- 3+ years Understanding of monitoring tools (Splunk, SolarWinds)
- 2+ years ServiceNow ITSM Tool
- 2+ years Server Batch Scripting
- 2+ years Cisco Network Tools (ISE, Catalyst)
- 2+ years Technical writing experience
