Job Title: IT Operations Analyst
Location: Naperville, IL (Hybrid)
Duration:6+ months
Job Description:
The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations, while driving service management and project execution to improve efficiency and reliability. This role requires hands-on expertise with ITSM platforms (Jira and Freshservice), Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, along with accountability for user onboarding/offboarding processes, service quality, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of IT operations and service management experience, with exposure to project management responsibilities.
- Mandatory expertise: Jira, Freshservice, Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, with ITIL v4 certification
- Demonstrated success in managing incidents, driving SLA improvements, and coordinating IT projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ITSM automation workflows (Jira/Freshservice).
- Familiarity with hardware/software asset management (HAM/SAM).
- Strong project management skills (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodology experience a plus).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, endpoint security, and cloud collaboration tools.
