Job Title: Contract Writer/Technical Writer Procurement Documentation Specialist
Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months Contract

Note: Candidates must be currently located in Florida or willing to relocate to the Boca Raton area.

Job Summary:

The Contract Writer will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing documentation related to procurement activities, including purchase orders, service agreements, vendor contracts, modifications, and amendments. This role involves developing clear and consistent contractual language that defines scope of services, performance requirements, terms and conditions, and pricing structures. The writer will collaborate with cross-functional business units to ensure that all documentation aligns with departmental needs and complies with procurement protocols and regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of business or technical writing experience and working knowledge of procurement processes/documentation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop new contractual language from business needs.
  • Intermediate professional-level experience; capable of handling moderately complex to complex documentation projects.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior staff (preferred).
