Description
We are offering a contract position for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst in the non-profit industry. The role is based in New York, New York, and includes a mix of onsite and remote work. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be expected to use your expertise in data analysis and reporting to enhance our decision-making processes and improve our operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making within the organization
Develop and implement effective reporting tools and dashboards for various business needs
Utilize BusinessObjects Technologies and other data analysis tools to extract insights and trends from complex data sets
Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance in data reporting
Leverage knowledge in Project Management to manage data-related projects effectively
Use Microsoft Word and Excel for data management and reporting tasks
Apply AB Testing methods and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to optimize data reporting and decision-making processes
Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents to outline the data needs and objectives of the organization
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data analysis and reporting outputs
Collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and provide appropriate data solutions.
Requirements
Possess at least 2 years of experience as a Data Reporting Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficient in BusinessObjects Technologies.
Familiarity with Database and EO/IR systems is required.
Strong skills in Microsoft applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in AB Testing is preferable.
Must have a deep understanding of Business Intelligence (BI).
Ability to create and interpret Business Requirement Documents.
Proven experience in creating dashboards and performing data analysis.
Previous work in the Non-Profit industry would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
