Job Description

Enterprise Architect

  • Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 6 months though rarely exercises this right)
  • Location: Highly prefer this person is local to Portland or Salem OR

IDR is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Portland, Oregon. This role involves supporting enterprise architecture initiatives, utilizing Ardoq for modeling and visualization, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive digital transformation efforts.

Requirements:

  • 4 8 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or closely related roles, with proven ability to translate business strategy into technical architecture solutions
  • Hands-on expertise using Ardoq for enterprise architecture modeling, including capability mapping, application portfolio management, data flow mapping, and technology landscape visualization
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture domains (business, data, application, technology) and how they interrelate
  • Demonstrated experience documenting and maintaining current state and future state architectures, and performing gap analyses
  • Proficiency in creating architecture artifacts (roadmaps, standards, reference architectures, impact assessments)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in large-scale transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with other architecture tools and modeling standards.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Ardoq Certified).
