STIBO Developer

Location- Initial remote but the resource should be ready to relocate to Baton Rouge, LA within one month upon asked to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Configuration

  • Design and develop MDM solutions using Stibo STEP platform for Product, Customer, or Supplier domains.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, user interfaces, data models, and hierarchies.
  • Develop and customize STEP APIs, user exits, batch jobs, and scripting logic as needed.

Integration & Data Flow

  • Integrate STEP with external systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop and maintain inbound/outbound interfaces using ETL tools, REST/SOAP APIs, and flat file mechanisms.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and transformation between systems.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure data quality, completeness, and validation across the MDM lifecycle.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Create technical design documents, data dictionaries, configuration guides, and support documentation.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, analysts, architects, and offshore/onshore teams to deliver solutions.

AMS & Support

  • Participate in Application Management Services (AMS) activities: incident handling, enhancements, and L2/L3 support.
  • Monitor system performance, tune configurations, and apply patches/upgrades as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 7 years of experience working with Stibo Systems STEP MDM platform
  • Strong experience in MDM solution development, configuration, and workflow customization
  • Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, XML/XSLT, SQL
  • Experience with data modeling, hierarchy management, and lifecycle governance
  • Solid understanding of ETL/integration processes, API design, and data synchronization
  • Familiarity with MDM best practices, data governance principles, and ITIL AMS models

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in large-scale retail, manufacturing, or CPG MDM implementations
  • Knowledge of STIBO STEP version 10.x or above
  • Experience with cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)
  • STIBO certification or training is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps tools
