Lead Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Weston, FL that is seeking a Lead Data Analyst who will collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to perform complex analyses using Python and SQL. They will conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to inform Data Scientists on optimal data sources and potential features for improving predictive machine learning models, such as churn prediction and propensity to purchase.

Responsibilities:
* Technical Analysis: Conduct complex data analyses using Python and SQL to support data-driven decision-making and model development
* Exploratory Data Analysis: Perform EDA using Python packages such as Pandas for data manipulation and Matplotlib for visualization to identify valuable data sources and features for enhancing predictive ML models
* Cloud Expertise: Utilize cloud services like BigQuery to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently
* Database Management: Demonstrate proficiency in relational database systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability
* Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical techniques to interpret data and generate actionable insights
* Visualization: Develop compelling data visualizations using Python packages like Matplotlib, Plotly, and other relevant tools to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
* Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to design and execute strategic data initiatives
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their objectives and deliver tailored analytic solutions
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data products through rigorous validation and testing
* Opportunity Identification: Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and mitigate risks

REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience with Pandas for data manipulation and Matplotlib for visualization, and SQL, with experience in writing efficient queries for large data warehouses (e.g., Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure)
* Data Visualization: Expertise in data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Plotly)
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders
* A strong preference is given to candidates with experience in cloud services like BigQuery and a solid understanding of databases, statistical analysis, and data visualization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
