Role: Desktop Support Specialist
Location: - Allen, TX-OnsiteJob description:
* Establish computer accounts for new hires and rehires, manage account permissions upon approval, and conduct account exit procedures for departing employees
* Create new telephone accounts for desk phones and mobile devices upon request and approval
* Provide assistance to users experiencing account difficulties, including password resets, account lockouts, and two-factor authentication setup and usage
* Liaise with mobile phone vendors for the procurement, troubleshooting, and removal of mobile phones and hotspot devices
* Participate in weekly New Hire Orientation meetings to facilitate new employee account onboarding
* Support other physical IT tasks, such as system lifecycle activities, IT space organization, and general maintenance of technical areas
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in IT support
* Proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
* Exceptional technical verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with colleagues and clients
* Proactive, energetic, possessing strong organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize workload
* Detail-oriented and capable of efficiently managing a diverse range of tasks
* Adept at effective time management, triage, and prioritization based on production requirements
* Capable of regularly lifting 50 lbs
