Job Description for Anaplan Model Builder / Anaplan Consultant :

As part of this role, you will play an important part in delivering solutions on Anaplan platform. You will be working closely with customer and Project Delivery teams to design and build complex, scalable, and integrated planning solutions systems leveraging Anaplan best practices in an Agile development environment. You will be responsible for independently leveraging latest Anaplan platform features & related technologies, define best practices and guidelines for model and UX design, and perform model reviews.

This role requires you to experiment and innovate with Anaplan platform, solve unique and complex planning problems, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. You must be willing to travel. Strong verbal and written communication skills are an implicit requirement.

Ideally, you should be a Bachelor in Engineering, or a MBA in Finance/Supply Chain/Marketing/Sales & Operations with working level domain knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning/Supply Chain Planning. Demonstrated competency and ability to learn new technology/applications such as Anaplan, OneStream or o9. You will be responsible for:

What you ll do:

You ll Support the Solution Architect and Product Manager in maintaining the health of the implementation.

You ll utilize Anaplan platform to design and develop models for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) solutions.

You ll apply domain knowledge in supply chain, retail, or finance to create effective models tailored to specific business needs.

Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of models by incorporating best practices and industry standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and understand their needs.

Stay updated on Anaplan platform developments and best practices.

Must Haves:

Bachelor in Engineering/ B. Com with working level domain knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis solutions and have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a model builder.

Should have worked on at least two projects in supply chain/retail/finance domain.

Should have worked on any one of the Anaplan supported integration methods for a project.

Should have experience in developing inbound and outbound data feeds to and from the Anaplan Model.

Should have experience working on Jira and confluence.

Should have experience in gathering business requirements and translating those into Anaplan solutions.

Should have good written and documentation skills for documenting the solution design with focus on data integration and analytics.
