Role: Principal Engineer
Number of positions: 02
Location: Summit, NJ (onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of large-scale, complex systems across multiple teams.
- Set and enforce engineering best practices including code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to senior and junior engineers, promoting technical excellence.
- Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to align engineering with business goals.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on performance, security, and scalability.
- Explore and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve development workflows.
- Participate in hiring and help define the technical culture of the engineering organization.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proficiency in [Java / Python / Node.js / Go / C++ or relevant stack].
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Open-source contributions or technical blog posts.
- Experience in leading multi-team engineering efforts.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
