Job Details

Position: Technical Product Manager

Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Hybrid Onsite: 3 days a week

Contract Duration: Through end of the year, (but also could extend into 2026)

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of overall experience in the IT space.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in presenting to and influencing executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership presence must be able to simplify complex ideas.
  • Deep understanding of modern software development practices, especially event-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud technologies.
  • Background in technical environments ideally with exposure to AI/ML, Computer Vision, or IoT in a retail setting.
  • Retail industry experience is a strong plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with large retail environments or store operations.
  • Prior experience working with innovation teams or incubation efforts.
  • Understanding of POS systems and in-store digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams and executive leadership, translating complex technical initiatives into compelling, actionable narratives.
  • Own the product communication strategy for high-visibility initiatives across mobile, desktop, AI/ML, and retail workflow platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design architects, engineers, and product owners to ensure strategic alignment and timely delivery.
  • Develop presentations and product narratives for executive stakeholders to articulate product roadmaps, status, and business impact.
  • Gather feedback from pilot markets and retail users to shape future development cycles and feature enhancements.
  • Help prioritize product backlogs based on business value, technical feasibility, and executive input.
