VP of Systems Development

Description

We are looking for a Manager of Applications Development to join our team. This role is located in Germantown, Tennessee. As a Manager of Applications Development, you will be tasked with leading and delivering complex software projects within budget and on time. You will also be responsible for supervising and managing at the director level or above, and utilizing your knowledge of programming languages, software development methodologies, and modern software architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex software projects in accordance to business specifications.
• Supervise and manage at the director level or above.
• Utilize knowledge of programming languages, software development methodologies, and modern software architectures.
• Demonstrate familiarity with cybersecurity industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Understand the software development lifecycle process and methodology.
• Apply knowledge of application programming in various business contexts.
• Stay updated with emerging technological trends and industry best practices.
• Use business acumen and systems analysis expertise to capture business requirements for application development.
• Understand and apply knowledge of RESTful API design and usage.
• Work with relational database design, artificial intelligence, and machine learning principles and concepts.
• Use proficiency in programming languages and software tools necessary to implement and support enterprise solutions, such as C#, T-SQL, JavaScript, Go, Python, Git, Terraform.
• Operate Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server.
• Apply knowledge of C# programming language and the .NET Framework.
• Develop user interface (UI) with comprehensive knowledge of user experience (UX) discipline.
• Identify technological opportunities for improvement and develop novel solutions with innovative thinking and strategic orientation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Applications Development Management or a related field.
• Proficient in Cloud Technologies, CRM, and Database management.
• Experience with EO/IR systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AB Testing and Application Development methodologies.
• Proven track record in successful Deployments and Design operations.
• Solid background in Engineering.
• Proficiency in C Sharp Programming (C#), .NET, JavaScript, and SQL is a must.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for technical innovation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
