Job Details
Title: PLSQL Developer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with technical leads to understand requirements for what needs to be built
- Follow the complete SDLC cycle from coding, testing, deployment, and production support
- Performing unit and system testing
- Working closely with IT lead for code reviews
- Communicating with the retail commissions team, making sure requirements are met, and data matches reports
- The commissions and IT team will spend a lot of time testing to make sure they are correct
- Data digging and data analysis
- Interfacing with the retail commissions team, DBA team - permissions set up, controlM team - back scheduling
Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in Software development
- 12+ years of strong development experience using PL/SQL, including experience using features like Analytical functions, merge statements, WITH clause, partitioning, job logging, exception handling, performance tuning
- 90% of their time will be spent working with Oracle PL/SQL; coding, tasking, using SQL developer tools
- 10% working on Unix scripts
- 12+ years of experience in 12c or 19c
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse environment
