Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Midland, Texas, specializing in the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires a skilled leader who thrives in dynamic environments and excels at driving complex IT projects from inception to completion. If you have a strong background in technical project management and a passion for delivering impactful solutions, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic project planning methodologies that prioritize agility, accountability, and transparency for the IT department.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to create detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Facilitate the forecasting of project timelines, identification of potential risks, and monitoring of progress toward key deliverables.
Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, resolve obstacles, and maintain project momentum.
Prepare documentation and materials for project prioritization discussions with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
Organize and lead project meetings, including status updates, reviews, and retrospectives.
Design and oversee an annual delivery roadmap to support resource planning and budget forecasting.
Manage multiple concurrent IT projects, ensuring efficient execution and successful delivery.
Mentor project managers, providing guidance on best practices and tools to enhance project outcomes.
Coordinate with third-party vendors for contract management and project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and leading technical projects.
At least 5 years of expertise in IT domains such as software development, infrastructure management, networking, cybersecurity, or analytics.
Proven track record of implementing successful technology solutions.
Familiarity with technology project lifecycles, including software development, system upgrades, cloud infrastructure, and data initiatives.
Ability to deliver projects effectively in fast-paced, flexible environments.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across various levels.
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.
