JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with extensive experience in handling high transaction data volumes and a proven track record in managing and optimizing databases related to Sales, Marketing, and Finance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and database structures to ensure efficient and reliable data management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Database Design and Optimization:

• Design and implement high-performance database solutions for managing large volumes of transactional data.
• Optimize database structures and queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
• Ensure data integrity and security in all database operations.

Query Development:

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for retrieving, updating, and managing data.
• Fine-tune queries to improve response times and overall system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions.

High Transaction Data Management:

• Manage databases with high transactional loads, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
• Implement and maintain data partitioning, indexing, and other strategies for handling high transaction volumes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to high transaction data.

Sales, Marketing, and Finance Data Expertise:

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand data needs and develop solutions.
• Design and implement databases that cater specifically to Sales, Marketing, and Finance data requirements.
• Collaborate on data-related projects to support business initiatives.

Data Integration:

• Integrate data from various sources into the SQL databases, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Collaborate with ETL developers to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and data flow.
• Generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports as needed by different business units.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SQL Developer, with a focus on high transaction data environments.
• Strong expertise in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lakes, BigData
• Experience working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance data.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
