Full Description:

SAP/S4 HANA Functional skill set a must

• Must be able to get hands on and into the details. We do not need them to be solutioning in various areas but oversee the projects at a level of detail to understand stoppers, issues, risks, business complexities, team dynamics etc.
• Functional consultant roles in their early career but not looking for a functional consultant. Needs to be able to easily understand the business requirements in various areas and coordinate the successful project execution in all functional areas.
• Ideally, an enterprise solution architect (not in the technical sense but the functional design sense)
• They can come from the PM side of things, however, need to see that hey oversaw complex S4 HANA projects with various integrations/interfaces, 3rd party solutions as part of the overall solution, ideally MES/DM. Also, if coming from the PM side of things, I need to see multiple S4/ECC projects having gone live and having been managed by candidate.

• Some technical, strong PM skills
• Understand concepts of Basis at a high level but is not a technical resource
• Between 1 -6 billion company revenue range
• Allows for growth but not working for a massive co where their current responsibilities are limited/narrow (we need a wide-range perspective with ability to see big picture but also get into the details if needed)
• Smaller company with hands on details, ideally 1B range
• Less than 20-30 current direct reports (project reports might be more, this references to direct reports)
• If current salary over 175k, reject (in case info is available)

Broad project scope cross functional experience in managing projects, not leading one functional side of the projects (not looking for an SD or FI Sr. Solution architects)

PMP certification preferred

• Managed multiple S4/ECC successful projects
• Can include implementations of other Tier1 systems in their career but we need S4/ECC experience in the last 5yrs

Previous titles that would match our role:

• SAP consultant (cross-functional experience, not just focused on one function in SAP)
• Enterprise Architect
• Enterprise Solution Architect

Do not need to have current IT department management experience (nice to have)

• Can develop into this role within 3-5 years

5 years of SAP S4/Hana experience

• Minimum 1 successful project, went live on time and on budget. If not having any live projects on S4, reject candidate directly.
