SOFT's client located Remotely ( MA / NY ) is looking for a Business Analyst - Workforce Planning for a long term contract assignment.
What you ll be working on
Hands-on reporting, presentations, and planning support for business unit s workforce planners to prepare for monthly and quarterly operational workforce planning review sessions especially those without dedicated analysts or experience pulling their own data and curating their stories.
Inform annual Group Function and Business Unit investments required in recruitment, training, and talent development to address future capability and capacity needs
Support business workforce planners, HRBPs and Recruiting Partners in ensuring short term plans and actions are happening in accordance with plans
Stakeholder relationship management to build trust, create lift, and help guide the cultural shift to operationally embedded planning and alignment with Finance
Elevating discussions on systemic challenges and unrealized potential to transform people planning and practices for the better
Align with and inform Workforce Development initiatives that will broaden candidate pool and long-term planning needs
Embed External factors shaping our workforce requirements using Talent Intelligence and Competitor data
Change management and adoption of new Strategic Workforce Planning tool Orgvue driving simplicity and efficiency to business workforce planners, stakeholders
Coaching and facilitation to help key workforce planning stakeholders confidently own the process over time
About you
Proven experience in Workforce Planning, People Analytics or other People Operations
Proficient in excel and strong power point skills to simplify data, insights for senior audiences
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with business stakeholders to influence, discuss and explain analytics to non-technical stakeholders
Strong business acumen, analytical and the ability to think systematically and holistically
Experience telling a story using data and extracting key insights, helping stakeholders drive action
Knowledge of HR practices, reward, talent management, organizational development, and labor market trends
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of results, especially in times of rapid turn-around needs
Demonstrated judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data or projects
Practiced at developing working relationships quickly and effectively across all levels of an organization and thriving in a collaborative team environment
