Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in Teradata SQL and Google's BigQuery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data pipelines, manipulating large datasets, and performing advanced analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple sources to support our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from Teradata and Google BigQuery into KPI database for QLIK and Google Sheets dashboards.
  • Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from Teradata databases.
  • Design and optimize data models and schemas to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Utilize Google's BigQuery platform for large-scale data analysis and processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and security.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our data analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Proficiency in Teradata SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Google's BigQuery platform, including data ingestion, querying, and visualization.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Experience working with large datasets and implementing ETL processes.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Jersey at least 2 days per week.
