Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead and innovate within our organization's technology landscape in Syracuse, New York. This role requires strategic oversight of IT systems, team leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional technical solutions that support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive operational efficiency and enhance user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering collaboration, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices.
Manage organization-wide Mac and Windows systems, including software deployment, updates, and user security.
Oversee remote administration tools such as Apple Remote Desktop and Windows Remote Desktop to ensure seamless operations.
Supervise helpdesk activities to guarantee timely problem resolution and high levels of user satisfaction.
Direct the planning and execution of system deployments, hardware installations, and user onboarding in alignment with IT policies.
Manage IT resources, equipment allocation, and workspace logistics, ensuring efficient use of organizational assets.
Maintain and support printers, multifunction devices, and other office equipment to meet operational needs.
Provide oversight for network interface configurations on workstations and servers, ensuring reliability and security.
Develop and implement scripting and automation solutions to enhance system efficiency and performance.
Represent the Executive Director in relevant matters when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
At least three years of experience in production environments with a focus on attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of Mac and PC imaging and deployment technologies.
Familiarity with Storage Area Network (SAN) systems and studio equipment.
Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
Strong understanding of broadcast, desktop environments, and facilities management.
Experience with media distribution platforms, including social media and streaming, is preferred.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
