This is a hands-on technical leadership role that also involves mentoring developers, optimizing system performance, managing integrations with ERP and external systems, and collaborating closely with cross-functional business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ.
  • Develop and customize Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations.
  • Design and implement CPQ configurations including workflows, product rules, pricing models, and discounting structures.
  • Integrate Salesforce with ERP, e-commerce, and third-party platforms using APIs and middleware (e.g., Workato or Mulesoft).
  • Ensure system scalability, data integrity, and optimal performance through robust architecture and governance.
  • Manage release processes using Git, GitLab, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering best practices in coding, performance tuning, and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 12+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Service Cloud.
  • Expertise in Apex, LWC, CPQ, and Salesforce integration best practices.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce CPQ solutions (product configuration, pricing, approval workflows).
  • Hands-on experience with Git, SFDX, and CI/CD pipelines for source control and release automation.
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and middleware-based integrations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and high-volume quoting environments is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist)
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing domain
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
