Network Administrator

Description

Robert Half is looking for an IT professional who has a strong passion for Network Administration! This is an excellent opportunity to grow your Network skillset and make an impact for a Real Estate company! This is a contract-to-hire role based out of Bellevue, WA.

What you will do:

• Work alongside other IT groups such as Systems and Helpdesk to deliver a network solution component for their various projects.
• Assist in end-user support and act as an escalation point for all network-related issues.
• Support and maintain on premise datacenter and hosted cloud tenant network operations.
• Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
• Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
• Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
• Participate in managing all network security solutions.

Requirements

Must Haves:

-IT Support Expereince

-STRONG Passion for Networking AND Certification or Degree in Networking

-Some exposure to Network troubleshooting
