Role : Software QA or System Analyst or Application Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Primary Skills: Azure, C#, VISUAL STUDIO, CYPRESS, SQL Server & Management Studio, Playwright.

This is a 6-month position that requires Candidates with a Minimum of 5 Years of Experience. This is a 100% Remote role.

Notes From the Manager:

• Firstly, we seek individuals with a solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes. They should have hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, as we follow these practices in our development cycles.
• Secondly, candidates should have proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, Selenium, and Playwright. They should be comfortable with writing and executing test scripts and should be familiar with various testing frameworks.

Software: C#, Azure, SQL Server & Management Studio, Playwright, Visual Studio, and Cypress.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Application Engineer at the Associate or Intermediate level. Though might consider more of a Systems Analyst if they have technical strength/interest and desire to learn automation testing/engineering.

Basics needed:

• Fundamental understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Fundamental knowledge and ability to learn secure coding/ writing, accessing and following established security protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot/resolve basic issues and contribute to issue resolution.
• Follow established coding standards, submit code for review.
• Experience in developing on a cross-functional team (Safe/Agile a plus).
• Experience writing manual test cases.
