We currently have a opening for an Assistant Engineer I for our Integrated OPS Plan & Support Services at in downtown Los Angeles.
For thir role it is required to work in the office 5d ays per week during starting as early as 7:00 am – 4:45 pm with every other Friday off.
The Assistant Engineer I will work in a very busy team-oriented environment. The Assistant Engineer I responsibilities will provide support to PWSC for energy and cost analysis, address CAISO metering deficiencies, provide support and cross-training for NERC cy6ersecurity related compliance requirements, and revenue enhancement efforts (see attached justification memo).
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
- Learn and assists with planning, coordinating, conducting, and monitoring tests, studies, investigations.
- Learn and assists to prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations.
- Learn and assists with technical analyses.
- Learn and assists to prepare cost estimates and budgets.
- Learn and assists with site inspections.
- Learn and assists with maintaining official records, documents, and data.
The Assistant Engineer I will prioritize work assignments, be detail oriented and have strong communication skills, work collaboratively with coworkers, perform administrative duties, and demonstrate critical thinking skills. The Assistant Engineer I may execute mathematical, statistical, and other models or participate on a project team and may perform other related Engineer job duties as required.
*The candidate to have Knowledge of electrical engineering, computer science, and/or cybersecurity. This is an individual contributor position and will not have supervisory responsibilities.
