Job Details

JOB SUMMARY:

Supporting the Defense & Special Missions team, the Bids & Proposal Engineer is responsible for assisting with organizing, collecting and presenting bids and proposal data for defense and special missions engineering programs. Researches bid & proposal data and aircraft information to support bid & proposal packages. Works with engineers to identify the work products and level of effort required to complete engineering projects. Coordinate with engineering, new product development (NPD) functional areas, program management, finance, contracts and other areas to assist in completing engineering bids & proposals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend project level meetings to assist and coordinate current and upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering, new product development (NPD) functional areas, program management, finance, contracts and other areas to complete engineering bids & proposals
  • Track schedules and make decisions to determine top priority of competing bids & proposals
  • Determine and communicate bids & proposals at risk of meeting their dates.
  • Look up aircraft data in company technical documents
  • Coordinate with company product experts to complete bid packages
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor, including generation of reports, team building, and focal for team.

EDUCATION:

Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, or related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced in Excel with ability to run/generate reports, and data manipulation.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office 2016 including Microsoft Project.
