Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $30.00 - $35.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Responsibilities:
- Work with Sr. Technicians to plan tests and maintain test equipment.
- Work with EMC Engineers to provide EMC consulting about designs and regulations.
- Work with clients to troubleshoot their products and ensure test methods cover possible field conditions.
- Setup for test.
- Run tests.
- Troubleshoot failures were found during testing.
- Whenever possible, provide regulatory and RF physics consulting help to clients.
- Document test results.
- Maintain test equipment

- Troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, and software issues.
- Attention to detail.
- Tracking multiple active projects at once.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on a variety of systems
- General computer use, MS office, etc.
- Basic electronics concepts and skills such as capacitance, soldering, crimping, and reading circuit diagrams.
- Understanding of radio frequency physics.

Education & Experience:
- Years of experience: Experience is not required, but examples of experiences a top candidate might have include:
- Ham radio or software defined radio work or hobby
- General electronics experience
- Radio Frequency Electronics Experience
- electronic lab equipment like Spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Amplifies, Signal Generators, and Network Analyzers.
- Previous work at an EMC lab.
- Degree requirement: 2-year electronics degree preferred

- Are there past or additional job titles or roles that would provide comparable background to this role: Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Technician or EMC Engineer.
