Application Developer

Location: Northeast Region (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm

Description:
* We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to design, build, and support scalable web-based applications across both the frontend and backend.
* The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of backend development using object-oriented programming and microservices, as well as proficiency in building interactive user interfaces.
* This role includes integrating data systems, implementing performance optimizations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and deploying applications to cloud environments.
* The developer will follow agile methodologies and participate actively in the full development cycle to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills:
* At least 3 years of experience in both backend and frontend development
* Hands-on experience developing RESTful services and microservices
* Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases and data access frameworks
* Experience with event-driven messaging architectures
* Proficient in implementing performance optimizations including caching strategies
* Strong command of modern web technologies and component-based frontend frameworks
* Understanding of UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
* Experience deploying applications to public cloud platforms
* Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools
* Experience with automated pipelines and version control systems
* Skilled in writing and maintaining automated tests across application layers
* Ability to follow agile workflows and collaborate across departments
* Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

* Experience participating in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities

Compensation:
Pay Range: $63000K-$90000K
