Job Title: Lead Technical Product Manager for Widescope Consulting and Contracting
Location: Remote
Classification: Exempt
REQUIRED: Experience in the healthcare industry and/or with government clients (state/federal), including RFPs and implementations.
Position Summary
As a Lead Technical Product Manager, you will play a strategic role within our Technology Product Management organization, guiding the development and lifecycle of key products and technical capabilities. You will be responsible for driving value delivery across multiple lines of business, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
You will lead product planning and execution from concept through delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, scrum teams, and business stakeholders. This role demands a strong technical background, deep customer empathy, and the ability to translate complex needs into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead 3+ critical technical capabilities aligned with multiple lines of business.
- Serve as the Product Owner for specific technology areas, acting as the voice of the customer (VOC).
- Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to define product features, value propositions, and roadmaps.
- Shape user experiences by defining user interface requirements and guiding documentation efforts.
- Align product development with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and deliver measurable value.
- Drive and prioritize the product backlog in coordination with agile scrum teams.
- Ensure roadmap alignment across portfolios and manage interdependencies effectively.
- Communicate strategic vision and roadmap updates to senior leadership.
- Advocate for lean product management practices, driving cross-functional collaboration and efficient delivery.
- Understand infrastructure and system architecture to inform technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Evaluate technical options, decompose complex problems, and influence solution design.
- Serve as a coach and mentor across product teams, promoting high performance and collaboration.
- Lead conflict resolution and consensus-building across teams and stakeholders.
- Present updates and strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a product leadership role.
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining product roadmaps.
- 3+ years of experience managing internal or external customer expectations and engagement.
- 3+ years of experience conducting cost-benefit analyses.
- 2+ years in agile or scaled agile development environments.
- 2+ years managing cross-functional or matrixed product teams.
- Compliance with all applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience); MBA preferred or in progress.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO); LeSS certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Experience influencing product strategy through voice-of-customer insights.
- Application development and software integration experience.
- Familiarity with Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveying and analysis.
- Experience managing direct reports or leading enterprise programs ($1M+).
- Strong analytical and research skills, using data to drive decisions.
- Skilled in structured, effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Demonstrated success influencing in a matrixed environment.
- Comfort working with developers, architects, and technical documentation.
