Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced Military Operations Liaison located at Camp Smith in Oahu, HI to provide program support of the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) program between the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J7 and the United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) to assist with planning and integration of Component level multi-domain capabilities, systems, equipment, and networks into Joint Exercises

NOTE: Position is located on Camp H.M. Smith, HI

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Assist in development of and monitor Strategic Operations, Activities, and Investments in support of the Geographic Combatant Command Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Campaign (PMTEC) Plan
  • Support the development of operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs that support PMTEC
  • Assist in the development of products that articulate US Marine Corps contributions to the PMTEC program
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts and investments to further link ranges and training areas across the Indo-Pacific
  • Assist with planning and integration of Component level multi-domain capabilities, systems, equipment, and networks into Joint Exercises
  • Identify opportunities where USINDOPACOM J7 can advance Joint Training Readiness
  • Coordinate with component level exercise planners and training coordinators
  • Develop briefings and assessments to a variety of audiences and convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors and fifteen (15)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Experience with exercise planning a must
  • Experience in US military operations and training activities
  • Knowledge of military planning and requirements generation processes
  • Experience with in the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training environments
  • Mid- level to Senior Officer experience within the US Navy or Marine Corps preferred

REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
