We're seeking a Product Owner - Casino Applications to join the IT Guest Facing team of a top global cruise line. This role is responsible for overseeing and evolving casino-related applications across a fleet of 19 ships. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for all casino technologies, working closely with shipboard operations, IT teams, and vendor partners to ensure seamless guest experiences and strategic alignment.
The Casino Product Owner will manage and enhance onboard casino systems and related digital experiences, ensuring a seamless guest journey across platforms such as Konami Synkros, Bravo Genesis, Paradise Lotto.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Product Owner for all Casino Applications across the fleet, with a deep understanding of both the technology and its business context.
  • Own the product lifecycle: requirements gathering, backlog grooming, prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including shipboard IT, digital product teams, vendors, and casino operations leadership.
  • Be the subject matter expert on all casino technologies including:
    • Bravo Genesis (table games like Poker, Blackjack)
    • Konami SYNKROS (player tracking, loyalty, reporting)
    • Paradise Lotto (lotto gaming machines)
  • Align technical capabilities with strategic goals of the casino division and guest experience standards.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage system integrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for applications such as Konami Synkros, Bravo Genesis, and Paradise Lotto.
  • Participate in technical deep-dives involving server environments, configurations, and hotfixes, ensuring uptime and smooth operation across vessels.
  • Coordinate with shipboard teams and vendors to ensure successful deployments and support.
  • Monitor performance, resolve issues, and continually improve the casino application ecosystem.
  • Provide input into long-term technology strategy for casino-related applications and systems.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, translating requirements into actionable development tasks.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a casino or cruise line environment, with hands-on exposure to casino systems.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in IT with a focus on guest-facing or casino systems.
  • Working knowledge of Konami Synkros, Bravo Genesis, and/or Paradise Lotto platforms.
  • Strong technical foundation able to navigate servers, databases, and system configurations, but not a pure engineering role.
  • Proven experience managing or supporting guest-facing applications (casino, photo, digital signage, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of interfacing with shipboard teams, executives, and technical staff.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, global environment with shifting demands.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (30-70%), often on short notice.
  • Must be comfortable with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite in Doral, FL / 1 day remote).
